Hi, I'm new :-) UK Croupier looking for just a 5% edge or more

Hi

Nice to meet you all !

I have been a dealer for 9 years, and I have been watching wheels looking for an edge for about 5 years.

I don’t really believe in dealer signiture, but i DO believe that with a wheel with any kind of bias or tilt, (most wheels) it is possible to gain a small edge, which can turn into a lot of money in the long term.

Please can anyone steer me in the right direction, computers? visual techniques? if so, which ones?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello leminem,

i DO believe that with a wheel with any kind of bias or tilt, (most wheels) it is possible to gain a small edge.

I would agree with that.
If VB provides small edge what would provide DS? 10 sec earlier predicted at start of the spin, where everything is just estimated to be same for each spin?

VB or computer

It depends what you want.
VB has no chance to predict leveled wheel.
On tilted wheel computer is more accurate easier to adapt to different rotor speeds.
Let say computer predicts where the ball will hit rotor within 1:5 pockets and VB within 1:12. But on final result after applying ball jumping scatter it doesn’t make so much difference.
On the other side, VB is legal computers are not.

Clock the wheels.

Almost half of the wheels are biased.

You need at least 4000 spins to start playing on a possible biased sector or number

Hi leminem this is my humble opinion.

I think you are hitting the wrong direction with your goal to find an positive edge if you aim for an computer.

First of all roulette is a part of you and your life, your hobby, its for me.

The first thing i did was to getting my self an Huxley wheel with low frets, because its the same wheel they use at my local casino.

Next is to be active on different boards to find lasting relationships.

Then ordering books of Basieux and Laurance.
Some books you have to scan into pdf files and convert from german to english.
I have used googel translate and it works.

Cheers LS

leminem i guess i am saying that is important to have an concept of basics before you start to hope that you will find and long term play with an edge.

Cheers LS

VLS first needs to learn that forums need to provide information to users.
If you go over there and write link to myrulet.com, or roulette place.com he will remove it. When I made a link to some information about roulette computers he removed it and told me it is a forum rule, and I thought it is something what he decided to be a rule, puzzled why. ???

MyRulet.

I made and sticky post that i lock and add a link to your board here.
If you have any suggestions with others links then post them here and i will add them to vls.com.

Here is the link

Cheers LS

Thanks for trying.

  1. rouletteplace.com/index.php “read the andvanced roulette play section”.

But that is not the link

Link to advanced roulette play would be
http://rouletteplace.com/index.php/board,1.0.html

Administrators of the other forums do not like links of what they think is “competitors” site because one of ways how Google indexes site is by how many other sites pointing with links to that particular site.

I believe it is selfish and limited way of thinking, by my opinion it also indicates lack of confidence.

I do not understand why would bother me if someone points with link to some other site and wants to discuss it or just to let people know about that site. Regardless is it forum , or someone selling roulette systems or computers. Forum is to provide information also to help readers to search for information. It’s up to reader to decide what will be valuable information to him.

Well i am not sure i get it.
I thought you wanted an link at vls.com and now you have one.

Cheers LS

Somehow here you managed to make active link to vls, and over there you only wrote text.

This is a link

http://www.myrulet.com/index.php/Links/

this is not

Hi lads

link is up at the dark side section where Herb is the moderator

I like when people make links so I can follow it to see what they talking about, some people do not like it.

If we all are same people with same objective then we all will have same rules.

HI All

I am new here and also very interrested in VB playing , but also i think that a device such as FF comes quit handy to people who want to learn VB , as well as for people who are advanced players…

so for me as a newbie in this way of playing roulette i think i will buy a device maybe FF  and start to learn the advanced way and the only way to challenge roulette…

also i think that to learn VB is a thing that needs also a individual aspect from person to person
with that i mean that not every book where different VB techniques are explained suit your nature skills… sure they help you in becoming familliar with the whole VB thematics , but you always should keep an eye open for your own techniques that suits you more and even improve it… ;)…

PS thanks to Lucky-Strike for the Link at VLS . without that i wouldn have come to this great place

cheerz

FFA is very good for my VB because it tells to player wheel parameters.
Also it helps the player to get feeling for the ball speed.

Yes, I would say the same.
Check this http://rouletteplace.com/index.php/topic,531.0.html
It’s kind of VB explained, wondering how many people could make something with it.
