Hello everyone,
I play roulette regularly, but until now I haven’t managed to successfully follow any system.
Two days ago, I visited a casino in my area, and completely by chance I came across a roulette wheel that I believe had a strong bias. Specifically:
- The casino had turned off the screen that shows the last numbers.
- For about 2.5 of the 3 hours I was there, the roulette wheel was consistently landing on voisins, especially the neighbors of 18 and the neighbors of 2 — more frequently towards the 18 side. The first two dealers resulted in voisins about 75% of the time, and the next two had slightly lower percentages. Unfortunately, I was tired and worried about losing my winnings, so I left.
Based on these few observations, do you think there was an actual bias? If yes, what could it be caused by?
Since I’m planning to go back tomorrow to see if the “issue” has been corrected, how would you advise me to proceed? Should I check anything specific before I start betting? Are there any details you would like me to observe?
Finally, do you have any recommendations for good sources on this topic? This is something I’ve always wanted to explore, and my recent experience at the casino has rekindled my interest.
Any advice is welcome!
