I have notice a specific brand of roulette and lets call the brand A. All of them has bias becasue of the wobbly rotor+Loose fret. 3/3 machines which i played are biased with advantage ranging from 6% to 12% by betting 5-12numbers. The charateristic are as follows

  1. The wheel can be set either clockwise and anticlockwise or alternating.
  2. The wobbly rotor can be seen using the cone lightings by the light projecting there, you can see the light move close to the edge and away as the rotor is spinning
  3. Probably becasue of the wobbly rotor, the machine sometimes fail to shoot air from the hole to the ball track especially on the taller side of the rotor (the section near single 0) probably because it leaks air due to bigger gap.
  4. Depending on the domiant orbit decay pattern, some wheels are strong and others are weak. Under different air pressure, the bias can pretty much shift a little bit or a lot, or stregthen and weaken.
  5. When i play sector bias, i dont need whole lot of data but only around 5000 spins then i can play straight away.
  6. The bias sector are very near 0 (the tall side of the rotor)

I have observed many typical roulette wheels where the light reflection on the rotor changes with its position, but I haven’t focused on it in the past few years.

light reflection is one thing. However, not all light reflection movement means there is an advantage on certain number. For example, a large ball is used then the defect doesn’t really have an effect. Or sometimes, the casino can maintain the wheel and even though the reflection is still there, the bias is weakened significantly
