Why does it show that I took part in the test?

I never placed any predictions.

With 19 spins an average on sector of 7 would be 3.6 hits so your guessing definitely is within SD.
But you were a bit lucky.

With 15 spins an average on sector of 7 would be 2.8 hits Security man has 9, it is 3 times more than expected.

LS has only 5 in targeted sector but in reality all 18 out of 19 predicted spins are possiably in area where an advantage exists.

I tried to contact other 2 guys but no response.  :o

Hi Forester, I just saw your email regarding 3rd place, thanks.
However, I should say that my entry was for the "numbers up"  (2 points) and not the strike point numbers (1 point).

Please can you show the list of the actual numbers up or re-adjust my score. This is just a correction and not a complaint.

                    Thanks

Hello advantage.seeker
I am sorry I lost original video spins so I can't check for final hits.
Hits to rotor I've had previously written on paper.

I was installing windows 7 on my computer.
It was 64 bits and my programmers did not like it.
So I bought and win 32 bits but professional so I can run it in XP mode as well.
In all that process I used 3 hard drives to install it but I forgot about video with spins and during installation I lost them.

I am sorry for that, your results do look good, but we can't know how many hits you would have if compared to final results. In your post you did not specify what the target was but anyway I could check it only against rotor hits.

If estimating

According to red graph minus 3 position is centre of one pick point that is where you have  10 perfect hits. Further form the graph 40% of time the ball may stay there which brings us to 4 but x 2 points = 8 points.
From remaining spins you may get additional 2 hits = 4 points
In total 12
Everything else would be dependant on luck.
You do have good results how did you predict?

Hi Forester, thanks for taking the time to show the chart, I appreciate that.

You will rightly think that I am being very fussy when i point out that 1 of my "winners" was also missed out in the results because I was marked on only 18 out of the 19 spins. Lol, no problem

Anyway, it was never about the prize money, so the next time you get a live prediction of 23 red, please put it all on!  and good luck.

well done to the winners, and thanks.

It's not me who should do your scores.
I did it fast just to get an idea, and I said if I made mistake you can correct me.
It wouldn't surprise me if your X I added to someone else. With some I noticed that I did mistake but I was not prepared to go through everything again.
All I need now is claim your price and send me paypal details.

This was a great thread! I don't feel that bad about exhuming it!

It's been over a year since this challenge was thrown down. Many new players have come into the AP arena and a lot of us, including myself, have grown in experience. I think it's time for a new video challenge!

It'd be great to see how VB2 players do against the FF and how other VB players do in the mix. What do you say Forester? Can you make another trial for us?

It may be fun. I can't do it now; maybe later .

If someone else wants to, he can.

Hey Forester, it's been almost a year since you said that. I would say that is later! :)

Any chance of a repeat challenge?

If I knew how to do it, I would do it. But I really want to be a participant this time. My VB wasn't what it is today at the time of the first challenge. I really want to give it a go. Also with the amount of new members, advances in VB experience, and RC techniques and models, it would be really fun to do!

Please Forester! Help us separate the men from the boys!
